Mission and key contacts

The Chelmsford Democratic Town Committee exists to:

foster and advance the ideals and aims of the Democratic Party;
work and organize for the success of the Democratic candidates of the District, County, State and Nation;
do all things necessary and incidental to the building and strengthening of the Democratic Party in Massachusetts and within Chelmsford.

When a Democrat was President, and Democrats had the majority in the Senate and the House:

We helped America's elderly climb out of poverty.
Most Republicans fought against the Social Security Act.
We helped the unemployed put food on the table.
Most Republicans fought against unemployment insurance.
We got a minimum wage for workers.
Most Republicans fought minimum wage laws.
We helped millions get health care.
Most Republicans fought against Medicare.
