The Chelmsford Independent thumps the tax rollback and praises the real work of government, and Tom Golden Jr.:

For the past four years, Golden has consistently earned the respect of residents in town for his efforts in bringing more local aid to the community.

Golden understands that the tax rollback issue is simply a campaign slogan by Republicans and not a sound economic policy at this time. As he said, "the will of the people wanted a tax rollback but the will of the people also wants a properly funded education.
